Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to Beejify. By purchasing products from our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy along with our Terms & Conditions.

Beejify is an online platform engaged in the sale of agricultural seeds, farming products, gardening products, and related agricultural inputs across India.

This policy is governed by applicable Indian laws, including:

  • Consumer Protection Act, 2019
  • Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
  • Information Technology Act, 2000

Our policies are framed in accordance with Indian e-commerce and consumer protection regulations.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order on Beejify, the customer expressly agrees that:

  • The customer has read and accepted this policy in full.
  • Refund and return requests shall only be entertained as per the conditions mentioned herein.
  • No refund or return claim shall be accepted after the prescribed return window expires.
  • Beejify reserves the right to reject any claim that does not satisfy the conditions mentioned in this policy.

3. Return Window

Customers may request a return within 2 (Two) calendar days from the date of delivery of the product.

⚠️ No return, replacement, exchange, or refund request shall be entertained after 2 days of successful delivery under any circumstances, except where required under applicable law for defective, damaged, or wrong products.

4. Eligibility for Return

To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be fulfilled:

  • The product must be unused and unopened.
  • The product must be in the same condition as delivered.
  • Original packaging, labels, invoice, and tags must be intact.
  • The customer must provide valid proof of purchase/order confirmation.
  • The return request must be raised within the eligible 2-day period.

Beejify reserves the right to inspect the returned item before approving any refund or replacement request.

5. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Products

Due to the sensitive and perishable nature of agricultural products, the following items shall not be eligible for return, exchange, or refund:

  • Opened seed packets
  • Used agricultural products
  • Perishable goods
  • Plants, live products, and nursery items
  • Fertilizers and chemicals
  • Custom-packed or personalized products
  • Clearance sale items
  • Discounted products
  • Gift cards
  • Products damaged due to improper storage or handling by the customer

Seed germination, crop yield, and plant performance depend on several external factors such as soil quality, temperature, irrigation, climate conditions, farming practices, pests, diseases, and storage conditions. Therefore, Beejify does not guarantee crop performance, yield, or germination percentage beyond the standards prescribed by the manufacturer/company.

6. Damaged, Defective, Missing, or Wrong Products

Customers must inspect the package immediately upon delivery.

If you receive:

  • A damaged product
  • A defective product
  • A wrong item
  • A missing item

You must contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • Clear unboxing video
  • Product photographs
  • Order details/invoice

Beejify reserves the right to reject claims where sufficient proof is not provided.

Claims made without proper evidence may not qualify for refund or replacement approval.

7. Return Shipping Charges

Unless the product delivered is proven to be defective, damaged, or incorrect due to Beejify’s error:

  • The customer shall bear all return shipping and courier charges.
  • If Beejify arranges the return pickup, the return shipping charges may be deducted from the refund amount.

By purchasing from Beejify, the customer expressly agrees to these return shipping terms.

Government guidelines also require sellers to clearly disclose return shipping responsibility.

8. Refund Policy

Once the returned product is received and inspected, Beejify will notify the customer regarding approval or rejection of the refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds shall be processed within 5–7 business days.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method wherever applicable.
  • COD orders may be refunded through bank transfer, UPI, or store credit at Beejify’s discretion.

Beejify reserves the right to deduct:

  • Return shipping charges
  • Payment gateway charges
  • Packaging damages
  • Any applicable operational costs

from the refundable amount wherever applicable.

9. Cancellation Policy

Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch.

Once the order is shipped, cancellation requests may not be accepted.

Beejify reserves the right to cancel any order due to:

  • Product unavailability
  • Pricing errors
  • Technical issues
  • Suspicious or fraudulent transactions
  • Force majeure events

In such cases, the customer shall receive an appropriate refund where applicable.

10. Exchange Policy

Exchanges are subject to product availability.

Customers must first return the eligible product. Once approved, a fresh order may be placed separately.

Beejify does not guarantee immediate replacement availability.

11. Limitation of Liability

Beejify shall not be liable for:

  • Crop failure
  • Germination failure due to improper storage/usage
  • Weather-related damage
  • Farming losses
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Delay caused by courier partners or natural events

Our liability, if any, shall be limited strictly to the purchase value of the product concerned.

12. Fraudulent Claims

Beejify reserves the right to refuse returns, refunds, or replacements in cases involving:

  • Suspicious activity
  • False claims
  • Misuse of the return policy
  • Excessive return requests
  • Tampered products
  • Missing original packaging

Legal action may be initiated in case of fraudulent transactions or abuse of platform policies.

13. Jurisdiction & Governing Law

This policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising out of purchases made on Beejify shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh.
